Description

Since the upgraded to MediaWiki 1.39, with Chrome/Opera/Firefox any wiki via Meta:Special:WikiDiscover no longer has a logo and the link in the sidebar to Administration is greyed out or missing.

The missing links in the sidebar is fixed by disabling CollapsibleVector extension.

Can you elaborate what you mean? Does this affect one wiki or all wikis?

@Rob_Kam Could you please give a specific example of a wiki where you've seen this issue occur? (Not all wikis have CollapsibleVector so if you say that's what fixes it it wouldn't be possible for the issue to occur everywhere, for example Meta works fine)

Here's a few, all with the default skin as far as I can tell. It's not all wikis now. Collapsible vector extension was for the sidebar not working.

I've set the Default Skin ($wgDefaultSkin) on my wikis (sdiywiki, scruffywiki, simpleelectronicswiki and rpiwiki) back to the old Vector skin.

I can't reproduce that on any of the wikis using legacy vector, only vector-2022, which is expected since it doesn't use the same logo configuration. But I also ran a script on all wikis to fix container permissions for Swift that would have fixed any legitimately appearing to miss the files.
