disable visual editor welcome popup for obeymewiki

I would like the popup that appears when users edit the wiki for the first time (the one with the welcome message: "Anyone can edit, and every improvement helps. Thank you for helping the world discover more!") to be disabled for obeymewiki.

I think the setting would be

$wgVisualEditorShowBetaWelcome = false

in LocalSettings.php from the research I've done, but I can't try it myself.

Oh, thank you! I checked the "Special:ManageWiki/extensions" and configuration options for Visual Editor, but when I didn't find anything there, I didn't think to check on the general settings page.

Yeah, most skin and extension settings are in ManageWiki, and if not, can be applied in LocalWiki.php.
