Remove "allow only logged in users" protection level from nycsubwaywiki
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

As title states. I thought this would be possible in ManageWiki but if it is I can't seem to find the relevant setting, and it's one of the only things that I'm not certain how to hardcode. But please remove the "Allow Only Logged in Users" restriction level from nycsubwaywiki, so that semi-protection (auto confirmed only) and full protection (admin only) are the only two protection levels.

This is a Steward matter upon second look, which I am not.

If it was a Steward matter, it wouldn't belong on Phab.

It was a Steward matter before @AmandaCath removed the PR merge request, now it can be done by anyone as the PR needed approval as it related to PII.

Removing a protection level is not a steward matter. It's most definately within the scope of SRE.

It isn't possible in ManageWiki. I know how to do this on mw-config though.

User protection level is gone on nycsubwaywiki

Removing a protection level is not a steward matter. It's most definately within the scope of SRE.

I'm aware, the PR that was previously linked in the description and asked to be merged was within Steward scope as it pertained to accessing CU and OS logs.

While the protection level itself is gone, the now-orphaned user right for "Edit pages protected as allow only logged in users" still exists in the "users" user group.

I believe you can remove that right yourself.

It's not in Special:ManageWiki/permissions.
