Visual Editor doesn't show up

List of steps to reproduce:

  • go to a random page
  • click edit source (edit button doesn't show up)
  • there isn't any option to use Visual Editor

What happens?:

Visual Editor doesn't show up.

What should have happened instead?:

Visual Editor should show.

Works with the direct URL https://fuhrerredux.miraheze.org/w/index.php?title=Main_Page&veaction=edit
But no button to switch from either editors.

It does indeed.
Though it isn't practical to use it like that.
I've tried the script in the dev wiki but it also didn't do anything

Have you tried to disable and enable VE? This usually fixes such bugs.
And, are you sure nobody tried to hide VE edit button via CSS?

I have done the first multiple times, and I'm sure nothing happened to CSS as logs only have 2 changes, both made by me

The button is not located under the more section it should be listed under the pen icon, see here:
