Any updates? Is there a problem with my request?

I am sorry for reopening this, but am I incorrect or did this install not include the Wikibase Client? Do I need to make a separate request for it?

Bear in mind this all stems from issues in https://artificercreations.miraheze.org/wiki/Template:Infobox_deity which as I understand, stem from not having Wikibase installed, but now it is installed and the issue persists. I checked https://artificercreations.miraheze.org/wiki/Special:Version and noticed the Wikibase Client wasn't listed, and that seems to be the main issue now.

So you want this only to make the infobox work rather than to use wikibase as a software?

If so, I recommend you work on changing the Infobox as this makes things a lot more complicated and solves nothing besides pushing the issue aside until it comes up later.

Actually I was planning on importing a large number of templates from Wikipedia, and I thought since a lot of them were bound to depend on wikidata, it would be much faster to simply install Wikibase than to edit each one to not depend on wikidata. I am not very familiar with Wikibase, I just learned of it recently, and the only use of it I know of is to use wikidata in templates, so no, aside from that I do not plan to use Wikibase.

If it's too much of a hassle to install the Wikibase Client, that's okay, I can edit every template I import to not use wikidata. Feel free to remove the Wikibase extension you installed for me in that case, if you believe that'd be better. I apologize for the annoyance.

It's fine - since Wikipedia adopted Wikibase in all templates it makes it a rather poor place to get templates from like in the past.

I'm sure @Reception123 or @Void wouldn't mind helping you in the long run.

Gotcha. I'll keep that in mind, thankfully this happened before I went trigger-happy on Wikipedia's Special:Import page :P

Thanks for the reply! If I need additional help on this sort of issue I'll page @Reception123 or @Void

Amanda reassigned this task from Amanda to John.

My initial change has been reverted by @John and I am not sure why. I'll let him handle it so that I don't interfere with anything.
