Description

I would need this MediaWiki extension on my wiki so I can redirect pages which I don't have in my own wiki to the respective Wikipedia page. Furthermore, if I put direct external links, the linked word would turn into a number. Of course I could write the word before the link, but that wouldn't look quite as nice.

@The_Picardian You can use https://meta.miraheze.org/wiki/Special:Interwiki (so [[wikipedia:Page]]).

Is that enough for you?

This it what I was looking for, thanks. But can this also link to the German Wikipedia? And when yes, how? Sorry if I shouldn't ask it here.

@The_Picardian Users cannot currently do this by themselves, as it can be used to insert malicious links.

Please tell me what prefix you need for the German Wikipedia, and I will take care of it

I would like de.wikipedia, if possible. If not you can also leave out the dot. This would be something like:

[[de.wikipedia:example|example]]

Or did I understand something wrong?
