Description

Hi, I wonder if they could include extension New wikitext editor, Media viewer and Upload Wizard too, please.
Thanks a lor, you're the best :)

Event Timeline

UploadWizzard is declined as it is WMF specific. New wikitext editor is part of VisualEditor.

It's okay, it does not matter. But Media Viewer and the New wikitext editor. And friend, you who know about this, you should be aware that the New wikitext editor is not part of any Visual Editor, both are separate extensions, like any other. I do not see the option to use it, it is more than clear that it is not. I asked them to install the extension that. Thanks friend.

Hi please do not assign tasks to people without their consent.

Oh, I'm sorry, I really don't know how the mechanics of "Phabricator" is, I understand it now. But, can you install the extensions? Please

Not right now. sorry. :( I have school on weekdays.

Oh, I understand. Are you going to school? Wow

Is it very complicated what they do? I mean add extensions, and check other things, so I tried a wiki of my own but when I installed the Visual Editor extension, the bar did not even reach half (when it is loading). That was frustrating

Configure it, how? I didn't know it :(

Well that is why we have Phabricator :) In case users aren't sure of how configuration actually works, so that volunteers can take care of it.

Excuse me, could u help me with something that happens in one of my wikis? But it's one that is in Spanish, since it's my native language, and therefore I wanna try to solve it. Maybe u can help me, maybe not, but I don't lose anything askin', right?

@DrewBiebs What can I help with? I understand a bit of Spanish.

Well, I'll explain: the thing is, I tried to remove templates and modules from Wikipedia, because I personally like them very much, and despite the innumerable attempts to create one that ends up liking me, I don't get it, so I opted to find the way to move those templates to my wiki, how? Well, exporting and importing these templates, I even copied the Wikipedia CSS, so that the templates could work with the same style, and everything was fine, but then there was a problem, which is when I implemented an infobox, in this case it's Anime, as it's "Attack on Titan", in short, it didn't work, it charged me in a way that it shouldn't, and it was precisely that, it's called: "Plantilla:Infobox animanga principal", and also, the "Plantilla:Fciha de persona" and "Plantilla:Ficha manganime" have shown failures, this appears... I don't know what to call it, this appears: "</tr>", I don't know what it means, and I don't know why this appears in the template, and I do not know how to remove it, nor how to make its operation —referring to the template— is the most optimal :(

Maybe @Void can help since he is better with CSS/templates.

I don't know if u can help me with anything, or advise me, I'd really appreciate it. I've had a good time with that, but since I was inactive for about five or six months, I lost a bit, so I have to take things back, and I started putting more effort on the wikis, all of them. In truth, thanks for your help during all this time with the wikis, really: ')

For real? Well thank you very much!

Disculpa, y, ¿cómo puedo ser voluntario? Para ayudar, en lo que pueda, claro :)

De momento, lo único que he hecho ha sido traducir algunas páginas de meta.miraheze.org al español

I just edited the LocalSettings.php in Phabricator, should I wait for some change to be made or do you?
I would like to be volunteer, how do I do it?
I read a little, can I volunteer to help accept wikis requests?

To be a volunteer, helping with feature requests (on Phabricator) is enough.

For LocalSettings.php when volunteers edit it is submitted as a pull request which can then be merged by the system administrators.

Wiki creator can be requested at the Community Noticeboard.

I just made an application, but for what you put me is fine, thanks again for everything n.n

Can you give a link to the page that does not seem to be functioning properly?

It's that and I don't understand it

Part of it is that Extension:TemplateData is not installed.

I think it has to do with the parsing of the <pre></pre> tags. And, it's one of the most irritating bugs I've ever had to deal with. I just removed all the pre tags, and it didn't help.

I'm at a loss here. It seems to have to do with the handling of tables in general, but I have no idea why or how to begin fixing.

So for now, I've removed the use of <table> syntax from https://shingekinokyojin.miraheze.org/wiki/Plantilla:Infobox_animanga_principal/doc and will take a look at doing a similar 'fix' to the other two.

Well, I got it. It would seem that someone had closed <th> tags with </td> tags, which is invalid syntax. I'll take a look at the other ones later.

No update on this feature request for over two months.

Going to close this as "Resolved" for now.
