RefToolbar with the 'cite' option

I would like to have the 'cite' option available on the edit toolbar (see https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Citation_option_in_your_edit_toolbar#Getting_'cite'_option_into_the_toolbar_of_MediaWiki's_editing_page). Is that something you need to enable on your end?

Hello, If I remember correctly, it worked for me:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Gadgets/export/ReferenceTooltips following the instructions. (It may take a while to be added to the bar)

I had forgotten to check if you had the Mediawiki: Commons.js (and in passing MediaWiki:Commons.css). You have to import it too.

If that does not work, you warn. When I tried the same as you, I also imported these pages without reviewing well:

  • MediaWiki: RefToolbar.js
  • MediaWiki: RefToolbarConfig.js
  • MediaWiki: RefToolbarMessages-en.js
  • MediaWiki: RefToolbarMessages-en.js (this is unnecessary for you, I brought it because of my local language: Spanish)
