Enabled extensions using ManageWiki don't seem to be enabled
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

I enabled the Popups and the Related Articles extensions using Special:ManageWiki on https://nonbinary.wiki/wiki/Main_Page, but neither of this extensions work (when hovering a link, no popup appears; there's no "related articles" section at the bottom of pages).

There's also some weird things that happened:

https://github.com/miraheze/mw-config/compare/79cfe25cbd59...f8186a06fb47 dosen't manually enable it, it enables it under the beta feature section which you have to go to and click enable.

Whoops, ok, sorry about that. Removed this part of the original report.

Still, shouldn't ticking the box "Popups" in ManageWiki enable the extension for everyone?

@NeoMahler it enables the extensions, but the extension its self requires you use either beta feature (if you enable that config for this extension) or https://nonbinary.wiki/wiki/Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-rendering (where it says "Reading preferences")

Right, closing because the bug is in my brain, not in ManageWiki ?

(Nope, not closing because I think I can't, but feel free to do it)

@NeoMahler you should be able to close it if you want :)

Oh, I'm such a noob. Closing!

@Paladox, you didn't have to enable Popups as a beta feature, it was just cache for users since JavaScript loads a bit late compared to extension itself. Also enabling it as a beta feature turns it off for anonymous users.

Ah yeh, i reverted that after realising it's in the preference.
