@Cmg We have the extension ProtectSite is what you are looking for? that you can enable in Special:ManageWikiExtensions from your wiki.

We currently have no way to prevent anyone from being able to read any page on a wiki unless the whole wiki is made private. In other words, there is no way to make only certain pages or namespaces only visible to certain users in a secure manner. We can create a private wiki for you where you can store the pages you want to be private and you can give access to those who are supposed to read.

There is, however, a way to protect an entire namespace from editing, and if that's what you want, you would have to tell us which.

@MacFan4000 they haven’t responded to Void’s comment above. The specific extension initially requested is declined, but the issue at hand still isn’t resolved.
