@Figurehigh you will need to import the template from wherever it came from via Special:Import on your wiki.

Hi Amanda,
I was looking around for string functions. I came acroos this page on wikimedia:
https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:StringFunctions
And noted that at the top of this page it says:

All of these functions are now integrated into the ParserFunctions extension, but are only available if an administrator sets $wgPFEnableStringFunctions = true;

Is this possible?

@AmandaCath I don't think that's necessary. What's missing is creating the template. Wikipedia has it.

@Figurehigh the ParserFunctions variable has been enabled on your wiki. Now, as Wiki1776 mentions above, you need to import the template from Wikipedia (go to Special:Export on Wikipedia, type in the template name, and then go to Special:Import on your wiki and upload the file).
