@Moqri So would you like to use another provider that is not LetsEncrypt?

@Reception123 Thanks, my domain is registered with namecheap.com and apparently they are not supported by LetsEncrypt!
Any suggestions?

@Reception123 Can I try the LetsEncrypt first and if it does not work then I try something else?

Please follow https://meta.miraheze.org/wiki/Custom_domains. You need to either point your domain at our name server or use mw-lib as a cname.

Thanks @Paladox, I have pointed my domain (aging.wiki) to mw-lb.miraheze.org as suggested. Do I need to do anything else?

I have not yet received any email or instructions on how to proceed! Is there anything I can help to facilitate the process at this point?

You need to give this to your SSL provider and then send us an SSL.

Thanks @Reception123
Apparently, my provider (namecheap) charge for the SSL! I am going to see if I can transfer my domain to another provider who does not charge for SSL. Will update you here

Okay. If not you can always use LetsEncrypt with us for free :)

@Reception123 I would love to use LetsEncrypt for free! I thought I cannot use it when my domain is hosted at namecheap.

Could you please set up a LetsExcrypt SSL and see if it works with my domain (aging.wiki)

Hi, so sorry for the late reply. Please follow https://meta.miraheze.org/wiki/Custom_domains.

I doin't see your domain either using our name servers or mw-lb.miraheze.org.

Thanks @Paladox and @Reception123
I followed the instructions and added a CNAME on my domain ("aging.wiki."), and pointed it to "mw-lb.miraheze.org" (see screenshot)

Now aging.wiki points to mw-lb.miraheze.org but not my https://aging.miraheze.org/wiki/Main_Page!

I have also added your Nameservers:

@Moqri I apologize for the delay in answering. I would like to ask if you still do indeed need this and if in the end you would like us to generate a LetsEncrypt certificate for you or not.

Reception123 claimed this task.

No answer. Please reopen if you still need this.
