A xml dump request is stuck in Special:DataDump
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

https://diav.miraheze.org/wiki/Special:DataDump/view/xml

Dump FILENAME.xml.gz is not completed yet, please come back later.

Since around Dec. 25th 2019, 6:22 UTC, I had generated a xml data dump and waited for the dump file being completed. However, it took several hours and even now and it still says it's not completed yet.

The diav.miraheze.org wiki is extremely small that usually makes around 4.5MB sized xml (0.99MB when compressed in gz file), and I had no problem making xml dump files until then.

Also, I tried to delete that stuck request but I can't seem delete it away. The message says I successfully removed it but it still stays in the list.

I wish that stuck dump request to be removed so I may dump xml files normally.

Event Timeline

Assuming this goes through the JQ, is it stuck (runJobs.php)?

Just triggered a dump on meta and despite it not being done, no waiting jobs.

Deleting needs to be clicked twice on meta

Done, no jobs.

Fixed. Please check the special page where the dump now exists.

Yay! Thanks for the fix, the dump is no longer stuck but is now completed!

I have downloaded the dump and deleted it, and tried to create a new dump for the potential case that I may stuck again.

Unfortunately, it seems is stuck again more than 5 minutes ago, and in previous successful dump requests, I believe it took about even less than a minute.

RhinosF1 reassigned this task from Reception123 to Paladox.

Fixed!
