Lost bureaucrat in my own wiki for some reason. Tried creating new roles and ended up as administrator. Need my perms back so I can set up other people's perms as well.

Move to High as Unbreak Now is reserved for things affecting the whole site.
The permissions part seems ok to me, and if you look at https://wiki.graalmilitary.com/wiki/Special:UserRights/Nyl you are a sysop and bureaucrat.
The 'bureaucrat' role shows that you have 'managewiki' so you should be able to change the permissions again.
Please let me know what the problem is.

These are the only options when assigning user groups. The group management interface on the other hand, doesn't let me edit the Bureaucrat's perms to be assigned/unassigned/self-removed.
If possible, can I get the roles reset to default and myself reassigned the default Bureaucrat role? Thank you.

I believe I've seen this before. There seems to be a small bug in ManageWiki permissions where editing a group, but using different capitalization seems to "rename" the group to the new capitalization, removing the rights from anyone in the old group name. It can be resolved (I think) by editing and saving (without making changes) the ManageWiki/permissions page for the group with the correct capitalization.

Check to see if my latest action fixed it, and if so, we may want to take a look at this issue. (I'm thinking of forcing all saved group names to be lowercase, but this would require some migration for existing cases).

FWIW I'd +1 on this. Not only would it serve to be a sort of bug fix for ManageWiki, it's also kinda MediaWiki convention to use lowercase system names and change semantics and cosmetics via system messages.
