The first concerns the rights to my wiki. I've reserved the rights by putting some images and videos there. Does that hurt any kind of procedural ethics?
The second is about personal domain. Is there any way to place my domain or will I always use the miraheze domain? That is, if I can put mine, how much does it cost? If I can't put my personal domain, then fine.

- For your first question you may change the license of your wiki by editing https://dreamsit.miraheze.org/wiki/Special:ManageWiki/settings#mw-section-edit (as long as all the editors agree with the change) or if the version you want is not available you may reopen this task with the requested license.
- We don't charge anything for custom domains, you must purchase your domain from any provider first and then follow the steps detailed in http://meta.miraheze.org/wiki/Custom_domains to use it with Miraheze.
@Reception123 or @Paladox for example, if I have my domain dreamsit.com.br it will be wiki.dreamsit.com.br is that it? Or does my domain have to be .org? Another detail, the domain is still mine isn't it? Let's say that for some reason I give up having a wiki with miraheze I can use that domain on another server, right? In other words, I don't lose my rights on him, do I?
@Pfyh
Accepted domains .br, .com, com.br and others
Your personalized domain will be yours, it will simply be connected to Miraheze so you can use Miraheze's services/extensions/skins. If you no longer want your domain to be related to Miraheze, the connection will be removed and you will not be able to use Miraheze's services.

Hello @Hispano76 ...
Some details:
- What does it mean: (...) If you no longer want your domain to be related to Miraheze, the connection will be removed and you will not be able to use Miraheze's services.
Excuse me but I do want it to be related to Miraheze, I just didn't want the name Miraheze in the domain. It will leave the personalized domain but I will continue with the services, right? Would you have any example of a custom domain and being from Miraheze?
- (do not change the priority status, tasks are not attended to by priority) Sorry I did not know...
Thank you...
=)
Ah. Right. You can see an example of a wiki with a custom domain name that has Miraheze's services https://allthetropes.org/ note that Miraheze will be mentioned at the bottom of the page.
@Hispano76 , or @Reception123 or @Paladox, so I don't need to put "wiki." as a subdomain? Because I saw that this domain is allthetropes.org and not wiki.allthetropes.org
If you can get me out of this doubt, please give me a start here in the https request process and domain change.
For example, I want mine to stay: dreamsit.com.br and not wiki.dreamsit.com.br, should I still post CNAME as a wiki? Sorry for the doubt, I never did that.
To do this, just follow the step by step above directed by @Reception123 ???
There are no restrictions on the format of custom domains, dreamsit.com.br is totally possible. For that the CNAME would have to be "@".
Hello @Reception123, @Paladox or @Hispano76:
- should i apply for ssl certificates after doing the CNAME process?
Here I have to put it SSL Certificates requests as I wish and how is it not?
- Only if I want to have the miraheze domain, isn't that in the subdomain: "ns1.miraheze.org" and "ns2.miraheze.org" ??? Mine is: ns81.domaincontrol.com
ns82.domaincontrol.com
- i also need the ip
yours:
3.1 => 192.184.82.120 == ns1.miraheze.org correct?
3.2 => 51.89.247.234 == ns2.miraheze.org correct?
@Pfyh There are two ways to point your domain to us, either via CNAME or by changing nameservers. And yes, those IPs are correct.
@Reception123 I put in
- Registry: Type = CNAME Name = www Value = @ TTL = ONE HOUR
- Nameservers: 192.184.82.120 == ns1.miraheze.org and 51.89.247.234 == ns2.miraheze.org
- In the registry I have another default CNAME as the full name (host): _domainconnect and in "Points to": _domainconnect.gd.domaincontrol.com. Should I leave it at that before what I explained?
Finnaly: I didn’t point on CNAME to mw-lb.miraheze.org, because that would leave my subdomain with the miraheze.org domain and I pointed to "@" to point to my own. That's why I did this procedure up there. I haven't had the nameserver change yet because Godaddy gives 24 to 48 hours. Is there anything wrong that you could help me correct or is this procedure correct?
