Limiting users that can edit

Description

Hi,
I would like to limit the users that are able to edit the material. As my wiki is medical information, I can only allow credentialed people to edit, and must serve as a gatekeeper for any editors. How do I set this up?

You can use Special:ManageWiki/permissions for this purposes.

Revoke the edit right from the * group (and user group, if it is assigned there). Then you can either add the edit right to a new group, or to an existing one.

If you do create a new group, please be sure to edit the group that should be able to assign it, and make sure that it is able to do so.
