@Helper Hi. I would just like to ask how necessary this extension is for your wiki. As you know the review backlog is very crowded and I was wondering if it might be easier to simply encourage your users to create accounts rather than have them edit from their IPs.

Hello. It already done. Only registered users can edit magic wiki. The extension, I believe, should be the "must have" for all wikifarm. If registered users can see the other users IP, the extension would add an extra security level between users.

Just using the opportunity of chat between us , the higher priority problem is no Visual Editor panel in Template namespace.

Without a community discussion (RfC) an extension such as this would not be globally installed on Miraheze. Users are invited to create accounts (which takes very little effort) in order to maintain their privacy.

If a specific wiki would want to request this extension again (which is not your case since IPs can't edit your wiki) this task may be reopened.
