Error with switching between VisualEditor and New Wikitext Source Editor in dual tab environment

Description

Problem: Whether enabling dual or single edit editing in Special:ManageWiki (screenshot #1| | screenshot #2), the following error is returned, when in Visual Editing mode, "Error loading data from server: apierror-visualeditor-docserver-http-error: (curl error: 52) Server returned nothing (no headers, no data). Would you like to retry?"

Reproducable? Yes, tested on theoriegnqc and reproduced on meta

What Should Happen: Whether using single- or dual-edit tabbed environment, VisualEditor should switch between the source and visual editing GUI environment seamlessly.

I’m not sure what the issue is as I cannot reproduce.

@Paladox What web browser are you using, and what are your settings set to in Special:Preferences or Special:GlobalPreferences? It may make a difference whether you've enabled, or disabled, the new wikitext editor in your preferences. Frances Amadar and I can definitely produce this error on multiple wikis.

Hello all! We have figured out why some of you have been receiving an error 52 when using VisualEditor. Clearing your cookies should fix it. This appears to have affected chromium powered browsers only. We think this may be related to a change we deployed over the summer relating to SameSite in the cookies. We've confirmed clearing cookies fixed the issue.
