Have Special:RequestWikiQueue display most recent requests first in archive
Closed, DeclinedPublic

Description

Currently, when viewing archived requests in Special:RequestWikiQueue (i.e. changing the "status" dropdown to anything except "Unreviewed"), the first/oldest requests are shown first. That has the potential to be confusing. I propose having the most recent requests that were approved/declined be at the top of the first page, and have the oldest requests at the bottom of the last page. This way, if one is looking for a recently archived request for some reason, it is a lot easier to locate in the sea of thousands of old requests.

AmandaCath moved this task from Backlog to Features on the CreateWiki board.

That would make tasks such as checking for duplicate requests easier.

While it could be useful to default it to that, I would like to point out that clicking on "Requested At" manually will allow you to view the most recent requests instead of the oldest.

John claimed this task.

The table needs to structured the same way, so implementing this change means we list the newest unreviewed requests first, not the oldest which is more logical.

As the table can be sorted, I’m going to decline this request.
