Mass deletion of pages in the attached list, subject to the exceptions described in the separate list
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Request: Requesting a delete page maintenance script run on Public Test Wiki to mass delete the imported pages imported by administrator TrustedInstaller on 20 August 2020, for which the user has received their final warning that this disruptive behaviour and editing cannot continue. As discussed with @Reception123 privately on Discord, I have compiled a list of pages to be deleted, based on the Special:Log/import for all pages imported to this wiki by this user (see attached list) and subject to the exceptions or exclusions listed in the separately attached list. The pages and templates to be excepted or excluded from deletion include those which were generally previously imported by one or more other users, subject again to a few modest exceptions where the pages/templates had few, if any, transclusions and/or inlinks and were otherwise useless.

Please note: I have not yet removed the list of pages to be excepted or excluded from deletion, as I figured you may have a quicker way to parse the exception/exclusion list and remove those from the pages to be deleted list.

  2. P342 - List of pages to be excluded from mass deletion
  3. P343 - List of pages to be mass deleted, after exceptions and exclusions have been removed

@Zppix, okay, you should be good to go with P343. I thought there were more pages than that, but anyway, I'll check tomorrow or whenever the script is done and compare against redlinks for any bluelinks in the Special:Log/import. If there's any that were missed in the copying, pasting, and merging of the log pages, I'll re-open the request and submit any others in a second batch.

I'll be honest I kinda wish you had used a full URL instead of just the ticket number ,as "T6075" is useless to people who don't know how phab works. Not a huge deal though.

In the long-term, it may be best to add imports to Nuke.

For the adding imports to Nuke, that is an upstream issue
