Rethinking creating accounts simply because a user visited a page... one day all disk space will get used up
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

You know, creating new accounts just because some person, automated or not, simply visited a site, will, in the long run, spell the end to Miraheze as it uses up all its disk space.

OK, does Miraheze have enough disk space to deal with the case of all users visiting all sites?

Anyway it is not a good long term practice.

Indeed, it might be made into an attack vector against Miraheze.

SRE constantly monitor increases and will take action if specific wikis have large surges due to malicious activity that become an issue.

I'm telling you guys something fishy is up.
I still think Miraheze is being abused.
