The reason why I am requesting this is because I plan to fork parts of wikiHow, which use the CC BY-NC-SA 3.0. Can that be added as a license for the wiki?

This is not correct. In ManageWiki it is not possible to change the license to CC BY NC SA 3.0, it must be done in LocalSettings.php.

No, that is because changing to older license versions require every editor to consent to the change, while new ones don't.

@Awesome-Aasim Since you are changing to an older license, as I say above, you will need to have a page where every editor agrees to the change. You can also revdel and delete contributions for those who don't, but until everyone agrees no license change can be made.

Nevermind, withdrawing my post. If anything arises later, we can handle it. 4.0 and 3.0 are pretty similar anyway in terms of their technicalities.
