Bug exists with wikis being closed inadvertently
Closed, InvalidPublic

Description

Problem: Wikis are still being inadvertently marked as closed, despite having new pages created as at 15 October 2020, which wouldn't even be inactive. It's, perhaps, possible the deletion script is only counting (Main) namespace contributions as eligible?

Reproducable?: Yes, has occurred on more than wiki.

I do hope we can get to the bottom of whatever this issue is and rectify it, as I definitely want to see wikis automatically as deleted and don't want this ability to be disabled on a prolonged basis

Last edit was Nov 1st, only just been reported with nothing to show that this was recent and couldn’t have been an issue related to the Nov 4th script issues.

Unless it can be shown this was a recent closure, there’s not a lot to investigate.

@John It may not be related to the recent closures, but do we know why this was inadvertently marked as closed? That's my concern. Is there some sort of activity that is not being counted correctly, such as our script only checking for Recent Changes in (Main) namespace?

If the wiki was closed prior to November 1st, do we not have private logs we can review to investigate when the closure occurred? And if not, perhaps we could look at adding a private logging facility of every action performed by the script, to help with troubleshooting?

The original reports from Nov 4th likely.

All RC entries except global renames are counted.

We do, but no one looked at them before they were removed.
