Hello, our team decided to start a Portuguese version of the wiki; however, I am not quite sure how to approach this. If this is something that can be done through communication here, please let me know. If it requires some technical changes on my part, such as tweaking DNS data and such, also let me know so I can do so. We would like to keep the domain, if possible, but if it isn't, we would very much appreciate your guidance.

This can be done from Special:ManageWiki/core on your wiki. Or by selecting another language when requesting a wiki on Special:RequestWiki on meta

Unless you want to switch your current wikis language, yes.

You can also have a multilingual wiki using the translate extension.
