I was hoping we wouldn't have to run the fixStuckGlobalRename.php, but as the MediaWiki global rename request for KingstonuHull-h1986 → KingstonHolm861 has been queued for nearly 24 hours (permalink), and stuck on the first wiki no less, it seems unlikely to resolve itself. So, if an SRE team member could kindly run the fixStuckGlobalRename.php MediaWiki maintenance script for KingstonHolm861 (new username) (KingstonuHull-h1986 is the old username), that'd be great.
Additionally, as this is the second request in as many weeks to become stuck, if the MediaWiki Engineering team, possibly in consultation with the Infrastructure team, could investigate potential cause(s) here and if recent updates, configuration changes, or other infrastructure changes may have inadvertently been at least partially responsible for the increasing frequency of stuck global renames for users with few global edits and even fewer attached wikis, that'd also be great.
Finally, if you could please reference [[phab:T7010|T7010]] in your server admin log log entry, that'd be great.
So essentially, this task has two parts. Feel free to split off the second part as a related task if so desired.
