Strange bug with MassMessage-delivered message not appearing in Special:Contributions/MediaWiki message delivery

Description

Bug report/Configuration Issue: In the course of undertaking regular monthly duties in my local capacity as a TestWiki Consul (namely, the notification and removal of inactive administrators on TestWiki), I delivered a mass message to five (5) users via their local user talk pages (link to list of mass message recipients). Note that there were five (5) users included in the list. Now here is where get things interesting...note the Special:Contributions/MediaWiki message delivery, there are only four (4) messages delivered today despite the MediaWiki message delivery system user delivering fully five (5) messages, including this one to SHEIKH yet that message is not included within the Special:Contributions page.

Not sure if this is either a Configuration issue or a Production Error, so added both, as I did assume that this is likely a MediaWiki core issue. If it's a deployed extension bug, that can be adjusted as well.

Anyway, I'd appreciate a thorough investigation into this bug and perhaps there's a maintenance script of some sort that can fix this?

We'll definately look into it, there might be a maintenance script to fix it but we'd need to know what the cause was to work out which.

@RhinosF1 Since you're handling this task, has there been an update on this on what the cause was, and an ETA to fix?

Separately, I should add that the mysterious missing diff reappeared following my sending a second mass message to one additional inactive sysop on TestWiki. It's strange that that second mass message caused the previous mass message's missing diff to reappear, but may help is in terms of diagnosing any upstream cause(s) and, hopefully, fixing upstream

The problem resolved itself mysteriously, but my concern is I'd like to know the cause and you agreed to look into it, so I'd appreciate any public posting of graylog data and other analysis you can provide so we can determine the cause.

There wasn't anything I could find and if it resolved itself then I'm going to close this.

This isn't invalid if it resolved itself it was still a valid task just self-resolved.
