Hello, it seems that you have not pointed your domain correctly to Miraheze's servers. Please make sure to read https://meta.miraheze.org/wiki/Custom_domains and let us know when you have pointed your domain to us.
I realized I added an extra character on accident, sorry about that. Should be fixed now!
This doesn't seem to have fixed it. Could you please send us a screenshot or copy/paste the values you entered so we can have a look and see what's wrong?
I used NameCheap to purchase the domain, sorry for the hassle but here's a screenshot. Do I maybe have host and target confused?
The 'host' part is the problem. If you want www.ethene.wiki your host has to be just 'www'
Oh, thank you so much for pointing that out. I feel kinda silly now but I've changed it to www. Thanks for your help ๐
@Zaoace That works now but just to make sure, you no longer want your https://wiki.zaoace.com domain then?
Apologies for re-opening this ticket, but I discussed this with my community mods and were hoping you could help alter the request a little bit.
Does Miraheze let you use the naked domain + subdomain? We'd like https://ethene.wiki and https://www.ethene.wiki to both be covered by the Let's Encrypt certificate and additionally have them both routed through your load balancer to our site.
I've set the records up on my side, but I don't expect the naked domain to work unless we can have it set up that way.
Please let me know if you need me to elaborate on anything else.
Thanks!
@Zaoace It's not possible to have 'both' at the same time, but you can have one redirect to the other. Would you like WWW to redirect to ethene.wiki or ethene.wiki to redirect to WWW?
@Reception123 Would it be very difficult to redo @Zaoace's custom domain so that www.ethene.wiki redirects to ethene.wiki, rather than the current scenario of the latter redirecting to the former?
