Description

Wiki: bngyaanipediawiki

Request: Following this community report of potential copyright violations on bngyaanipediawiki, I'm requesting deletion of the pages of the copyrighted online resource Banglapedia. Note that good-faith was assumed, too, and the user was requested to provide verifiable proof that they possessed from Banglapedia's publishers a non-exclusive CreativeCommons-compatible license to redistribute and adapt the published content, with the set deadline of 20 June 2021 now reached / elapsed.

I've copied the list of pages to delete at P436.

Please reference -u Miraheze maintenance script -r Copyright violation: Per [[m:Stewards|Steward]] [[phab:T7503|request]] on [[m:Phabricator|Phabricator]] as parameters in the deleteBatch.php maintenance script.

Please verify that 6,019 pages were deleted when done.

When done, please run initSiteStats.php on the local wiki.

I'm not sure what this is related to? But this was a request to mass delete pages.

@Aftabuzzaman Are you the wiki user from SN? Assuming so. Anyway, have all those pages been tagged with [[Category:Banglapedia]] or the Bengali translation? If so, then yes we can proceed with the deletion. If not, no, I'd say not, at least not without a representative sample comparison. Also, if so, can you please add these to the existing Paste, then link Reception123 to the line number on which added pages start? Thanks.

Yes, i'm the same user from SN. Yes, all of those pages has Category:বাংলাপিডিয়া (Banglapedia).
