Need help with migration of a wiki
Open, NormalPublic

Description

Hello, I recently created a wiki on Miraheze (wiki-asterix.cf) and imported the content of my FANDOM wiki (asterix.fandom.com/fr). However, I have some problems: the statistics only show 360 pages of content (instead of 447). Also, the categories don't seem to work well: for example, the characters category contains only 146 pages (including subcategories) instead of 287. Finally, I made a request to the FANDOM Staff to save my files in .zip and import them at once, but they refused (as usual...). Is there any way to move them, or at least save them all at once, so that I don't have to import all 2000 files one by one?
Thanks a lot,
Soronos

Re images, we can't due to policy help with mass exports as Fandom don't allow it but you should consider google. If you do get an image dump, we can import it.

We can run a script to try and refresh the various counts though.

I'm sorry but I didn't quite understand what you meant by "consider google". Are you talking about using a Google tool or just doing a Google search?

A google search. You'll find many tools that let you scrape images from Fandom. We're not allowed to provide it because it's against their ToU.

No response in a week. If you're able to get the images please do feel free to reopen this task and send us the images so we can import, otherwise I'm afraid there's nothing more that we can do in that regard.

Hello,
Thank you for your patience, I apologise for my delay. After several searches I finally found a tool that seems to have worked: would it be possible to import the attached .zip file into Wiki Asterix?
After rereading the Fandom terms of use I don't seem to see any rule forbidding the automated extraction of images, so I think it's possible to suggest websites and applications that allow you to save all the files of a wiki without risking to violate their ToU.
