@Rairakkumee Hi, what file/wiki would you like to import?

File is on email

Hello. Why users are shown in history like wikia:pollandball>Username ? It has error in wiki's name and page doesn't exist. I think the link should lead to the community central, otherwise it will break after deleting the wiki.

@Rairakkumee Hi. I'm really sorry about that, that was a typo in the interwiki prefix. Did you have any other content on your wiki or was it completely empty before the import?

We had 1 page: https://polandballru.miraheze.org/wiki/Тест
+ I think the link should lead to the community central, otherwise it will break after deleting the wiki.

Either way I guess the wiki will have to be reset in order to get the correct URL. I will check with Trust & Safety to see what would be copyright compliant.

I'll reset the wiki then and import with the corrected name "polandball", since either way if we linked to Community Central the pages themselves would be inexistent.

I would like to note that the English Polandball Wiki is also going to be closed on September 7th. After such date, the newly updated wikia>polandball links will be invalid either way.

Sorry for the inconvenience, there's been an issue with the reset. I'll look into it further tomorrow and hopefully manage to fix it.

Can I start restoring settings and images?

@Reception123 Hello, you promised that you would deal with the import problems on August 30, but didn't. We've finished the most of changes to other things, and we haven't large time for full moving a wiki and redirecting readers. If you haven't time, you can transfer this task to anyone else. If you are dealing with this issue, I want to keep up-to-date about situation, because it worries me and other users.

Sorry for the delay, since the import is very large it is still ongoing. Once it is completed it will be transferred to your wiki. The import method with MediaWiki is unfortunately slow like that. Please do not restore any settings or images for the time being as the wiki will have to be reset again.

Update: the import is still continuing for the time being.

I'm really sorry for the delay, this is now done. Could you please make sure everything is okay?

Why does statistics page says wiki has 0 articles? All pages need to be rerendered?

I've updated the statistics manually.

  1. Will the statistics be updated automatically?
  2. How do I link edits from Fandom account to new Miraheze account, if it was created after the move?
  3. There are no edits from Fandom in the edit counter (for example, I should have 4000+ edits).
  1. Will the statistics be updated automatically?

Yes, it's only twice a month I think. We should create a help article on this.

You'd have to ask us.

  1. There are no edits from Fandom in the edit counter (for example, I should have 4000+ edits).

There should be a script to fix that.
