Description

Per https://meta.miraheze.org/wiki/Special:RequestWikiQueue/22397 . I asked the requestor to choose another name, and they did choose a new name, but not before another wiki creator approved it, so it was still created on the old name. Please update it to the new name they have chose - https://mirrorsedgecompendium.miraheze.org/wiki/

Would it be easier to create a new wiki and delete the existing one rather than to rename the existing one? Since nothing has been done on the wiki so far, this would not cause any trouble on our side.

Yeah, it would be easier. But I saw you made some edits. If you are really sure you want to delete that one and create another one, let me know and I can create a wiki for you on the new domain and a steward can delete the previous one

The scope later changed, but the initial task was not invalid. Stop changing this and frankly just stay away from tasks I create in general.

Asking a MWE to "stay away" from tasks in the MediaWiki project is not appropriate in my view, especially because of a status dispute. I would be mindful of the CoC and remember to stay civil on Phabricator.

In my view, both statuses do not work too well here. That is because the task has not been 'resolved' in the sense that we've done something, but it is also not invalid because it's not in itself a task that is inappropriate for Phabricator. I would rather think "Declined" would work better as the definition is: "Tasks that either can't be done at this time, won't be done or the conclusion was that it was not needed at the time.". Please do not attempt to change the status further as it's not something that is worth time arguing about.
