Description

We're having issues on the 30XX Wiki where a specific gif's thumbnail isn't loading.

Visible in the final section on this page, you'll notice that the Echocave Miniboss and Lethal Tempo's images aren't loading at all, despite other images on the page loading just fine. (Save for Big Snek, Dustria Miniboss and Beeg Frog, we haven't gotten around to making images for those yet, that's on us)

I'm not sure what's going on though, as File:Echocave_Miniboss.gif and File:Lethal_Tempo.gif exists and they are in the exact same format as all the other gifs. It seems to be just the thumbnail that isn't working.

No response to above, and it does seem all images that are supposed to load, do now on that page.

Ah, sorry! This completely slipped through the cracks and I just forgot about it.

Lethal Tempo's image and Echocave Miniboss' image still aren't loading properly on the Bosses page, despite the gifs themselves working perfectly fine on the File page.

This is what I see, just an empty space. (And yeah, I made sure to clear the cache.) Waiting around for about ~3-ish minutes just has it replaced with the "missing image" box. Same happens with the EC Miniboss too.

Same happens to some of the users in the 20XX/30XX Discord too, so it's definitely not just a *me* issue.

I have noticed your image is considerably more zoomed in though. Potentially related?

Unfortunately, this is due to our current resource limits, it times out before the thumbnail can be generated due to some larger thumbnail sizes, thumb_handler ends up timing out. There is really nothing more that can be done from our end, but you could try uploading lower quality or something to reduce the image sizes and that could work. I apologise for the issues your having, and for the long delay in getting back to you here.
