WikiForum disappears after previously working

Description

Hello, I am an admin for the Anterra wiki https://anterra.miraheze.org/

I recently installed the WikiForum extension (about 7 days ago) and it was working fine at the time. But one of my users has informed me that it no longer works. The forum page states "You have requested an invalid special page." The embed on the homepage that listed the 10 latest threads is also broke. It appears as if the extension is not installed, but it is marked as installed in my settings?

I checked the extensions settings and the WikiForum extension was checked. I unchecked and rechecked it and it did not fix it.

I'd appreciate any help. Thanks!

WikiForum was disabled due to a security vulnerability in the extension. I believe a sitenotice was out informing bureaucrats but perhaps that's not the case?

It seems the site notice did not properly work to display, I will look into that a little later.

Hoping this is the correct place to ask these questions; forgive me if this is the incorrect place.

Firstly, will WikiForum be re-enabled in the future after the security vulnerability has been dealt with?
Secondly, does this mean everything that was posted on these forums are lost for good, or are those simply inaccessible?

It is unknown when but it should be back eventually. When it is, everything previously posted will be accessible again. It is not permanently lost.
