Configuration request: $smwgQMaxInlineLimit
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

As described on the official SMW page,

$smwgQMaxInlineLimit is a configuration parameter that sets the maximal number of rows ever printed by a single embedded query on a single page or a query on special page "Ask", even if a value for the limit parameter was specified explicitly. The configuration parameter was introduced in Semantic MediaWiki 1.0.

Note that the limit set with this configuration parameter does not apply to result format "Count".

Defaults to 500, which I realised while testing things out at ExpandTemplates late this morning. For wiggle room as concerns my conlang stats, I suggest between 750 and 1000--so long as we don't exhaust the servers.

Cf. an earlier, more ambitious attempt last month by @BlackHawk (T9738).

Since "so long as we don't exhaust the servers." is mentioned, @Universal_Omega could you make sure that that would be fine in terms of performance?

General Note: Please note that unfortunately due to the ongoing issues with cloud141 affecting many of our services, tasks are on pause and cannot be actioned until the issue with cloud141 is resolved due to this unavailability. We apologies for the inconvenience caused by this.

I have set it to 750. However if it ends up causing issues, it will have to be reverted.
