While I understand that people are busy, could you give some clarification on why the task is declined?

It was previously declined (in T338). I'm inclined to agree with the original outcome of the review, that it should be declined for security reasons. I don't believe we need anymore extensions that embed stuff, as that only increases the risk that we could have have security vulnerabilities. We already have the TimedMediaHandler, YouTube, or Video extension which may provide an alternative. Again, I apologize.

Thanks for the clarification. Having looked at the documentation, I'd like to also request EmbedVideo. EmbedVideo has some additional features that neither the YouTube nor Video extensions seem to have, including support for more video services and being able to use URL arguments, so I don't think Video would be sufficient.
