You should be able to grab a dump of all wikis database -> domain map from the api.

I suggest caching it in memory and only updating if there's a db name you haven't seen before.

Would it be possible to link log entries in IRC to some wiki page (like the log page)? That would allow me to identify wikis even if they have custom domains. I'm adding identification based on database name (converted to url) for now, but that won't be able to identify any custom domains.

Hm, your IRC feed has a different format from the Fandom one (no wiki url on log entries and the bot doesn't know database names). I'll see how easily I can add support for both formats

@MarkusRost: please disable the recent changes function of your bot. We've banned it due to this. (Not your fault but the database is hating the query suddenly)

@Reception123: can you please look into T7386#147373?

Yes, it would be nice if we could figure out how to test this out on test3 so we can try setting those two variables and see if that fixes it for sure. I say that because when I tried to access the link above I'm getting a different error:

PHP Fatal Error: Interface 'League\OAuth2\Server\Repositories\ClaimRepositoryInterface' not found

I've investigated the problem: the reason for timeouts when using Wiki-Bot is because it asks for the whole list of extensions. Miraheze wikis respond to that specific request (https://meta.miraheze.org/w/api.php?action=query&meta=siteinfo&siprop=general|extensions with |extensions) too slowly, slower than most MediaWiki sites, and that is why the bot has problems. Asking simply for general is fine. If I had to guess, it's probably something to do with ManageWiki. (Leaving this here for people searching this in the future.)
