This is not happening on any of the other wikis where I have moderator rights, just the one private wiki. If it's local, evidence indicates it's at the server end.

And it's gone again.
And the issue has returned.
Problem appears to have cleared itself.

Also happening on All The Tropes. Again.

Confirming that the pages are restored and can be edited. Thank you for the help.

This might be related: Special:Recent Changes on the same wiki returns an error message instead of a list.

Sorry, there's a consistent typo in the file list. Actual list:
Draft: 2016-09-19: All children who love stories, come, gather 'round...
Draft: 2016-09-30: There has to be something better
Draft: 2016-10-31: Halloween in Another World
Draft: 2016-12-24: The 2016 Christmas Party
Draft: 2017-02-14: Valentine's Day in Another World
Draft: Arc 2: All Is Fair in Love and War

Thank you - I'll update sitenotices the next time the 503s stop.
Aug 5 2022
When the site comes back from the current outage period, could somebody please put a Miraheze-wide message onto the wikis saying why this is happening and how long it is expected to continue? I seriously doubt that I'll have time to put sitenotices on all three wikis that I have mod rights on before the next outage, given the frequency and length of the outages, but a Steward would probably have enough time to do it for everybody at once.
Aug 4 2022
Periods of repeated 503s across multiple wikis are now taking place hourly, and lasting for minutes at a time. We can't tell our users to wait for "a day or so" - please provide a more precise estimate of how much longer this is going to continue.

It is now "after the infrastructure migration on January 14th", and this problem continues to take place. Please re-open the ticket.

I cannot save edits to that particular page at all. I've tried both editing a section of the page and editing the entire page.

Tried your patch - all of the map marker description text is no longer displayed. I'll comment out the map until such time as you get Extension"Maps working as documented again.
Never mind - I just noticed that the "Edit" tab still works even though the page won't load.
How do I bypass whatever is causing the error so that I can actually get to edit preview without getting a Fatal exception error? As it is now, I can't even read the page, let alone begin to edit it.
This is happening on other pages on the same wiki.

Above error message was generated when attempting to load the page "Aria House", either by searching for it or by following an existing link to it.
Dec 8 2021
Less important: Extension:Maps stopped working after upgrading miraheze to 1.37.0. For example, https://theresnothingbetter.miraheze.org/wiki/Places (private wiki) does not show the map of places at the top of the page.
Dec 7 2021
Poser and Daz Free Resources is having the same problem with editing, and with displaying the Moderation list.
Oct 11 2021
I don't know why this became a discussion of Elastic/CirrusSearch. My report was that an extension is broken.
Sep 30 2021
It has now been eight weeks since I reported this broken behaviour. Please increase the priority of this - it isn't "Low" priority any more.
Aug 29 2021
Coming up on four weeks now, and AdvancedSearch is still broken...
Aug 16 2021
It's been nearly two weeks. AdvancedSearch is still broken. Please provide a status report on the efforts being made to fix it.

Confirmed - I just deleted a file that I expected from a lack of thumbnail would have been undeletable.

It's been nearly a month since I reported this. Has there been any progress?

All images on All The Tropes (excepting images hosted on Wikimedia Commons) are now not visible on all pages. Is that a result of the efforts being made to solve this issue, or should I enter another Phabricator ticket for that?
EDIT: Sorry, this issue was at my end. The issue with certain images being undeletable remains.

As one of the current moderators of the All The Tropes wiki, I confirm that this request is in accordance with our wiki's policies.

I did, yes. I've just bumped it up to 22 (the previous sitenotice was 21), and still have the same behaviour showing.
May 23 2019
Same issue existed on allthetropes and poserdazfreebies. I can edit now, but as of this posting the "Admin Links" link I'm used to seeing in the top menu is missing at allthetropes, poserdazfreebies, and theresnothingbetter

Just received a report that the categories are back for the pages, but not for the files. Please re-open this ticket.
Confirmed that the categories are repopulated. Thanks for the quick response!

Either there was a delay in the update taking effect, or somebody else did something - the issue has been resolved.
Updated the wiki's version of Hotcat to the most recent - V2.36 - and the error condition persists.
Dec 27 2017
Do I have rights/permissions to do that? I thought updating software was a restricted action.

Oct 16 2017
Yes, please do. I have no idea how to add a script to my wiki.
Oct 15 2017
I'm told that these extensions are currently running on All The Tropes, so we should have a copy of the code installed.
ReferenceTooltips does not appear as a gadget under Preferences on https://poserdazfreebies.miraheze.org/

A thought for the future - can a cron job or the equivalent be set up to stop and re-start JobQueue on a daily basis (or more often, if it doesn't impact performance), so that this would require less manual intervention?

Could the file be zipped or gzipped, please? My download is failing after ~100,000+/-5,000kB (the problem is at my end).

I wish the documentation for AbuseFilter wasn't so opaque. I have no idea how to code "if action=edit and text contains FOO then disallow"
If this can be done with AbuseFilter, then I'd be willing to do that, yes.
