Please give me a group name in english. I can help you name your groups but I need a unique english bit of text for each to put into the config. THen on wiki you make a bunch of pages and the groups show up with the names

Please make the page MediaWiki:Group-editor say "Maverick", MediaWIki:Group-editor-member say "maverick" and MediaWiki:Grouppage-editor say "{{ns:project}}:Maverick". The group will be called editor in the software but all you will see and all your members will see is maverick and to you it will be called maverick.

We might consider looking at anti spam software. SpamAssassin looks relatively well known in terms of such software. As such I understand that ops staff have the final say but I +1 the suggestion

I'm for an RfC. If I have content I don't want to be on 800+ random wikis (as me or some user may have) then I want a little switch saying on off. Also community consensus is just about everything on a wiki where there is an active community to make the decision (like meta).

@Reception123 I was worried about forgetting about it. Also I'm also unsure if you know for certain that my github (at present) is allowed to make such PRs relating to this wiki so I might as well as err on the side of caution. Hope that helps !

That's because the page does not exist.

Its a template. That means you can go to Special:Import and then export the template (include all templates, look up on a search engine for instructions) from wikipedia and then use the page I linked to import everything. Make sure that it imports to the "Template" namespace (again use a search engine to find out if you need help). That's all

That is possible. I do not know how to implement this at the present time but I know that a reviewer group which can do so is either included or can be configured to work that way

I believe flaggedrevs is able to offer you a group with edits automatically marked as approved.

They can put a reason in the reason box and press save. You will be added to the bureaucrat group immediately after the page loads after that

Can you upload the logo to the wiki and send us a link to the file? We (the people who know how) will take care of the rest

Yes. Thank you for clarifying. Now @NDKilla is this a bug that can get fixed? I can see 500 log entries on my local test wiki (link here) with custom global timezone and without erroring.

I think you can keep the current bureaucrat. Usually on other services I use they only demote them by community consensus vote on the community portal or some sort of on wiki, well known community meeting place (as determined to be valid by the demoting person) or by 1 year of inactivity. Since on here only stewards can dismiss a bureaucrat I suppose a self request by them (Laurens Waling) will also suffice.

Wait since everyone has real life things do do and can't be on here all the time. If you looked at the github you might be able to take a look and work out how to enable it before someone else makes a patch to turn it on. I currently have internet just good enough for web surfing but not good enough for github work. If you would like me to try and help you I can try to do so in 2 days but no guarantees.

Do you want them to be able to see the wiki or not see the wiki. Also do you want them to be able to edit or not. This is unclear @Timboliu999
