@NCC1701 Just to confirm that it's the subdomain you want to change, to startrektnc.miraheze.org? URL names aren't case sensitive so the actual url would still be lowercase.

In case of login issues following the rename: Open the private browsing mode of your web browser and login, and go to Special:UserLogout. Next, open the regular browsing mode of your web browser, delete your cookies for *.miraheze.org and try and login again

Fixed with invalidateUserSessions. Unfortunately, renames are not straightforward and things like this sometimes happen

We should still rebalance the successors.

This was done with the infrastructure migration.
I've been thinking... would this actually solve anything? The new global DB could still go down and take down the farm... however I do suppose it would be less likely...

I think we can be stingy and just give 50GB tbh, I doubt metawiki will get too much bigger.
